AAAA Records in Shared Hosting
The cutting-edge Hepsia hosting CP, included with our shared hosting, allows you to set up a new AAAA record without difficulty. Once you are within the account and you go to the DNS Records section, you will discover all records you have for every hosted domain address or a subdomain under it. All it takes to set up the AAAA record is to click on the New Record button, to select the domain/subdomain in question, choose AAAA after which only input or copy and paste the IPv6 address. We've got a step-by-step guide if you have never created records for your domains, but it's less likely that you will need it as Hepsia is much easier to make use of than other Control Panels on the market. Within an hour your new record shall be active and your domain shall start resolving to the servers of the other service provider. There is also an option to change the TTL value, which determines how long this record will be working if you edit it, from the standard 3600 seconds to any value that the other company may require.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Hosting
When you've got a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you need to create an AAAA record for a domain name you have hosted in it or a subdomain you've created, it is going to take you just a few mouse clicks inside the Hepsia CP to accomplish this. Even when you have never had a web hosting account before, you will not experience any problems since you will use a very simple and easy-to-use interface. All DNS records for your domain names will be listed in a section of the Control Panel with the exact same name, so once you go there, you will notice all records which have been created automatically or manually and you're going to be able to set up a new one by clicking on the corresponding button. A little pop-up will appear, so with only several mouse clicks you can pick the type of record that you need and for which domain name or subdomain it's going to be created. Then, just paste the IPv6 address in a text box, save the change and one hour later the new AAAA record is going to be fully live. As an optional setting, you can pick the time this record is going to be functioning after you edit it or delete it in the future. This is the so-called TTL, or Time To Live value of the record, which you can modify from the standard 3600 seconds when the other service provider demands it.
